Anyone that can give me some reassurance? I've been bleeding since Sunday, had a scan on Monday and baby was fine, had some heavy bleeding and cramping yesterday so went back to hospital and had an examination and she said she doesn't think I have passed my baby but have a hole in my womb, in other words am I having a miscarriage? I know I haven't passed my baby because I haven't had a big enough clot. My bleeding and cramping has calmed right down too.

so I was informed the next again day that I DID pass my baby during the examination! The doctor was not clear at all with me and my midwife was shocked I didn't find out that night. So yeah I had a miscarriage unfortunately, thanks for all your help ladies and I'm glad you all had better outcomes than me, I'll just need to try again ❤️❤️

So sorry this is happening.  I started bleeding at 9 weeks, was diagnosed with a submembernous bleed within the uterine wall (a little separation in the uterine wall).  The bleeding stopped after a few days. I've had 3 subsequent ultrasounds and the baby is growing appropriately but the separation in the uterine wall is still there.  I am now 15 weeks, my doctor put me on lifting restriction and pelvic rest.  He said my miscarriage risk has gone down significantly since I'm past 12 week (about 1 percent now).  From what my ob tells me about 30-50% of women that bleed during pregnancy go on to have a full term baby.  Hang in there!  I know how stressful it can be. I suggest you take it easy until you see your ob.

With my first I had a massive bleed including 2 big clots at 7 weeks and baby was fine! She was born at 24 weeks mind but apart from that she's here and healthy! Now pregnant with my second, I had a big bleed at 5 weeks with clots, had 2 scans because first time we couldn't see a heartbeat but second time we could and baby was wriggling around and then I had another bleed last Saturday, had a scan on Tuesday, baby is still fine, growing, healthy and got no problems! No one knows the reason for my bleeding and intense cramping but I know it can be scary but just try not to worry too much, I'm sure baby is still fine x

I bleed randomly and have spotting at least once a week. I'm 35 weeks now and baby is perfectly healthy

I completely understand what you are goin. Through. I have been bleeding for the past week and a half and requested an emergency appointment with my docture to make sure everything was ok. He said that bleeding is normal and last week he was able to see only the sac so now I am waiting until next Thursday for my first official appointment. Hopeing everything is ok and from I have been reading it is more normal than I thought. Try not to stress (which I know is easier said than done) and definitely take it easy.

Years ago while a freshman in high school my good friend had her period for the first five months of her pregnancy . Which is why she didn't know she was pregnant until her period stopped, went to the doctor and they told her she was pregnant and was having a girl. She went on to have a healthy baby girl who is now a teenager . Not sure what caused her to have a period for the first five month though , just thought I'd share . Stay hopeful

I had a subichroinionic hematoma on my placenta and bled for 3 weeks yet still went full term and delivered a healthy baby. Go to the doctor and request to simply hear your baby's heartbeat if it makes you feel better! I did!
