Are these chapped lips or some sort of residue from nursing? I haven't gotten my milk yet (that I'm aware of.) If it's just some kind of build up I want to clean it off but sometimes it sticks like it's skin/chapped lips.

Deffinitely call your pediatrician just to make sure. It looks like it could be thrush. Is he latching okay? Thrush in baby's mouth can make it painful for them to eat.

Looks like nursing blisters that popped and the white is the skin tissue from that. However, like the other ladies mentioned..I'd get it checked out. Good luck!

My baby had the same thing .. put some breast milk on them and it was gone next day .
