Am I being unreasonable?

Hey guys! So, my fiancé had been single and living alone for a long time, before we got round to being engaged and living together. I mean he's amazing, but there's this thing he does that really grinds my gear. 
He will go out without telling me he's going out! He'll grab his keys and just be out of the door before I can even ask him anything. Like He fell asleep on the sofa last night, in the living room, and when I woke up in the morning he had already gone out. And then when I texted him asking him where he'd gone he didn't reply until he got home hours later. 
I complained to him the other day about it and that kind of just started an argument, as he said it seems I'm trying to control him by having him tell me he's going out, every time he does. 
I mean we live together now, it wouldn't hurt him to just say "babe I'll be right back" or something. Right? 
Am I being unreasonable?

That's weird to me. I mean he doesn't have to tell you where he's going at every second but he should at least tell you he left. My man doesn't leave the house without giving me a kiss and a goodbye. Even when he's in a rush he'll still come to tell me "hey baby I'll be right back" and I do the same. 
Seems like he's treating you more like aroommate  then anything.

My so and I alwaysvtell each other if we go out. For one thing if he goes out without telling me and I don't realise and he comes back in it scares me as I'm not expecting anyone to come in plus if something happens and I need him I know how the voter hold of him. Shout/ring etc

We don't ask permission, but we at least say something, send a text, or leave a note if deviating from the normal routine. I had to ask him though, he started like your guy, but his car was unreliable and one night he was out later than he said he'd be with a dead cell phone...  he tells me what's going on now. I didn't think he was doing anything wrong while out, I just would have already gone to be without waiting for him since I had to work early the next day.

Maybe you can just say to him "you know I would really appreciate it if you could tell me when you leave just so I know you gone or even where you're going in case of an emergency"
