Sleeping arrangements

My LO just turned 3 months old and he still takes all his naps in his swing and sleeps at night in his pack n play in his room. He has good nights and bad nights in his room but overall does well. How and when did people transition the babies away from swings or rock n plays? Do i just stick him in his pack n play for naps? I just went back to work today and my aunt is watching him at our house and daycare split due to financial reasons. I feel bad replying on someone else doing his transuooyns but he may just be fine. Any advice or comments would be fantastic.

Yes i know sleep guidelines were just released saying to have him in my room but we just transitioned into his room 2 weeks ago and im not going back because my partner and i get up earlier than he wakes up for work. Picture for attention.
