Does Mirena make you gain weight

I've gained weight quite suddenly, and I've been on it for a year or so. I've been eating about the same and have been exerting myself physically more than normal. Yet it's been like 3 to 4 months where I've realized I've gained weight and I want to know if it's because of my birth control.. I had sex around may and it was a bit rough where I didn't really feel right for a few weeks after. I'm not pregnant btw
