High chair question??

Question

How long did your baby use a high chair and at how many months did they start& stop? I don't want to spend a crazy amount on a high chair, so many are 80$+! I found a few for 30-40$ but people are telling me to make sure they are good quaility at least. I just don't want to spend too much on something that's only gonna be used for a few months one things that will be used a lot in the babies life. These are the ones I'm looking at, they come with a pack n play for that price !

Get a space saver one. They're $20 and can be attached to any chair. And the seat reclines and sits up for different ages, the tray comes off, and it can be used as a "restaurant booster seat". They're not the most astectically (?) pleasing (only tan or pink) but they're a great deal.

This is what we are getting.... you can use them before baby starts trying to eat at 6 months, just by padding it so baby doesn't fall over. Kinda like a high car seat.... I would gold a blanket around my little girls head to hold her up while I was cooking and she could be right there with me... but I like that this one can be up high, lower, and used for bigger toddlers.

I got mine from ikea for $24! Its been great so far, I can actually eat with him without being disrupted lol 😂

I bought one that has an infant insert in the seat, so I've been using it since she was born. We put her in it at the table when we eat dinner. Wanted to start our family dinnertime routine fun the beginning.  She's 3 months now and has just started sitting in it through our entire meal. It's nice to be able to sit down to eat all my food and use both hands 😃

I feel like the length of time they use one can also depend on how rambunctious your child gets. I would say one of the most important things is to make sure it's a good sturdy high chair. Yeah they make cheaper ones but some of them feel really wobbly and in my opinion just don't feel safe.

I don't have my baby yet but imagine they would use it for a long while. From once you start introducing solids until two, then I got one that turns into a booster seat for when older
