working while pregnant
Okay, so just before I became pregnant I took on a job as a nanny. I have been used and abused and I'm not even being paid sufficiently. They told me they have a nanny contract written up for me, I never saw it, and so when I brought it up that I would write one they insisted they had one and they just had to get it from their office. I'm now 18 weeks pregnant and have quit this job because I am making virtually no money and putting in much more work and hours than initially agreed upon. My husband and I are not in a financial situation where he can be the sole provider, though he is in the running for a promotion at work we can't wait around on it, because if it doesn't happen we will be seriously screwed. So my question is what do I do? I've had multiple job interviews that go extremely well, and though I know regret it, I informed them I was pregnant and they all have a change of tone. I am not showing and I know if I have any more interviews they will more than likely take notice. Does anyone know of any companies that will hire pregnant women and/or any other solutions to this problem? 😩
