Dropping?

Question

I've had comments from people I see often (at work and family and husband) lately that  baby has dropped! I'm 33 weeks tomorrow. For moms who've had babies before, how long did you drop before baby came? I read that within 2-4 weeks of baby dropping they will arrive. That's too early! I can tell I dropped but not significant. Is it supposed to be super obvious? I can breathe a little better lately and going pee even more than before.

I've read/ been told it doesn't make a difference when you drop... especially for FTM's. I dropped last week at just over 30 weeks. My midwife still expects me to carry tommy due date, and from what I've heard that's the usual experience. It's just going to be extra uncomfortable until then. 😝

You can honestly drop at any point in your third trimester. With my daughter I noticed I dropped just about a week before I went into labor (had her at 38 weeks) with my son I had dropped around 32 weeks (had him 5 days after his due date).

I'm 31 weeks and had almost all my co workers comment on how much my stomach has dropped.

I'm 33 weeks also and was wondering the same thing! Baby is head down and everyone keeps saying how she has dropped already. I'm also nervous that she might be here too early.

With my first I dropped around 35 weeks and went in labor at about 38...I'm now 33 weeks and dropped with my second ....

I've had similar comments from people. I'm 35 weeks. Been hearing it for over a week now. Curious to see what experienced mommies say. I'm a FTM too.
