one boob produce less?

Question

Anyone have one boob that produces less milk than the other? My left makes much less than my right all I the sudden. The baby doesn't feedcss well on it and when I pump it gives out much less than the right does for the same amount of time

For my first my left always produced more! Right from the start. And I've talked to others who have said that one has produced more then the other. Sounds normal to me.

Our daughter is 10 days old and my left boob so lags behind. It also lagged behind with my other 2 children as well.

When my milk started coming in, I was getting 1ozs to 2 at the most on my left. And 2-3 on my right.

Now I get 1-3 on my left and anywhere from 2-5ozs on my right (depends on how long ago that she has fed)

I always start her on my left as well,  especially during her cluster feeds! It definitely helps with production 😊

Just remember that the pump doesn't get all of the milk, And baby can get milk out way better than the pump.

After I pump I can always feel some left on my left side but nothing more will come out. But when I feed her with it, I can feel the difference and I don't have that left over milk in there 😊

My left also lags behind my right. When I pump I get .5-1.5oz on my left and my right will do 1-3oz. Most of the time I get 2oz on my right and 1 on my left.

I always start my daughter on the left side when nursing. Even if she's only on for 5 minutes.

At night my supply is a lot lower as well on both sides. She's gaining weight, though so I know she's getting enough.

It's very common. Pump on that side while baby is on the other. Also don't stop trying baby on it. It will even out eventually:)
