Shortened cervix

I found out yesterday at my doctor appointment that my cervix is shortened. It's at 2.7cm. If it gets down to 2.5cm, they said I'll be put on steroids to increase my baby's growth rate to prepare to deliver him early. I'm already a high risk pregnancy due to gestational diabetes, and now this. I'll be 32 weeks on Sunday. My doctor said the goal is 37 weeks, so I'm praying we make that! If not, she said, at least 34 weeks.
