Are you going to use birth control?

Question

I know after you give birth your super fertile and I don't want to be pregnant right off the bat. I'm just nervous about getting on any sort of birth control. People talk about how long it took their cycles to become normal after stopping BC and since it already took me 2 1/2 years, without using BC, to conceive I'm worried it'll make it even harder when I am ready to have another one. Yes, there are condoms, which we are considering (we both hate them). Are you ladies going to use BC after your babies, if so what form? Are you worried about trying for your next one?

I'm personally against it b/c of what it does to your body...not natural at all. Do your homework/talk to your doc & choose the best method for you.

I was on birth control once for a few months, and I HATED it. I'll never use it again. My husband and I use the pullout method on my fertile days, and that's worked for us. We have four kids, all have been 100% planned, and I've gotten pregnant the first month trying with each of them. What works for some may not work for all.

I plan on getting the Skyla IUD again.
It's never stops you from ovulating all it does is kill the sperm when it enters you.
I had it for a year, had it removed August 3rd and got my first BFP Sept 5th. 
My doctor said it's a great short term option because it's good for 3 years so if you're thinking you might want kids again within 3 years I suggest it. Your cycle will never stop so it won't take forever TTC due to it.

I probably won't, simply because I'm single and don't plan to get into another relationship anytime soon. However, when I do get into a relationship I will get back on paragard.

I'm on the fence. After this baby I don't want to get pregnant right away but the only birth control I love is the implant and i know we don't want to wait 3 years before having another baby. We may not use bc and just use the rhythm method plus I plan on breastfeeding.

I was on the pill since I was 17w when i started having sex with my now husband. I'm now 26, so approx 9 years on the pill and my cycle was normal after stopping the pill. I actually conceived the first month after stopping but lost that baby and now I'm 23w with my girl. We conceived her 3 months after my loss. I know the pill doesn't work for everyone but it worked well for me. I will most likely go back on it unless it affects my attempts at breastfeeding. Otherwise we'll use condoms until I go back onto the pill.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and we just use condoms after delivery until we want to conceive again. It's cheap, effective and clean! No messing with hormones, etc. we'll use them for a while again after this baby is born and then my husband is going to get a vasectomy.

I was on depo for 2.5 years before I got pregnant with my daughter now, and after I have her I'm getting the implant since I don't want to get pregnant anytime soon and the hormones are very similar to depo. I never had any issues with it but I know people vary. I never had a period, no weight gain or acne or anything, and I got pregnant after being off it just for 2-3 months!

My 6 week checkup is on Wednesday, and I'm definitely going back on the pill!!
