i got nexplanon about a 6 weeks ago, and now ive had my period for the past two weeks. anyone on nexplanon, how long did your period last when you got it ?

i just got it a month ago today and my period was only 4 days , everyone is different

Both implants I had a period that lasted about a week, and then was period free until 6 months before getting the first one replaced - and free for 3 years with my second, before getting some whacky cycles.

Honestly i think a lot of girls should do more research about getting the bar before actually getting it. My periods were on and off when I got mine and then i had my period non stop for 6 months straight. After i had some months full period and some months off and is currently non stop bleeding again. Its different for every girl but dont expect normal cycles.
