Boob pain before BFP

So shorty after ovulation I noticed my boobs were very sore, and still are, especially when pressed (like wearing a bra etc). I had kinda shooting pains in one boob which lasted less than one day and now both are just tenderish. Now I had been on the pill for 10 years prior to TCC and have been off for 4 months now. My cycles prior to this one have never left me with breast pain like this. I got aches here and there, but never for this long or this noticable. AF is due in about 10 days or so and I was wondering if it is possible to be experiencing the pain because this is my BFP cycle or could it be a delayed respose from coming off the pill and ovulation. I have read a few forums with people saying that if it feels different to your normal cycle, than it could be a BFP. Ive got my fingers crossed but I dont want to get my hopes up.
