Baby shower

Who is the one that should throw my baby shower? My husband & I both lost our mothers 3 1/2 years ago. I'm an only child & no close friends. My husband has two sisters, one that lives 6 hours away & she's too jealous to give us a baby shower and his other sister is too lazy for that. So my question is who should be the one to give us the shower? Right now we're thinking my husband will be the one.
