Should i or not????

Question

Ok so my mom has always been against social media and hasn't allowed me to have one, I'm 16 now and she told me the only way I can have one is if I give her my account info (username & password) to her so she can get on and check it when she wants and I don't know if I should get them anymore because I don't want someone to surprise me with something I didn't know about like nudes or saying something to me unexpectedly and me getting in trouble for something I didn't know and her not letting me keep it or maybe check my whole phone because of it so I need help should I get one or not???? Please vote & comment your opinions

It's up to you... my mom did the same thing but she never actually checks it and at some point I did forget my password and changed it without telling her and she never asked for the new one. Also, as long as you're not looking for nudes and all that stuff that you don't want your mom to see, it won't find you... if you ever come across that rare situation of someone asking for nudes or sending bad pics you can just block them
