You should never lie to your SO about important things that may affect your future. What if you lied and you guys tried to have a baby but you couldn't bc of the abortion? Bc that's possible that an abortion can affect future fertility. What I'm saying is, don't lie, own up to what you did. If it's in the past it shouldn't matter. If it was his and you lied about it, that's a whole other conversation.

I don't think your past is anyone's business. How many partners you've had, who you didn't date or did, or if you had an abortion. A past is a past. I would never ask my husband such questions and vice versa. A abortion is a very delicate subject. If your not comfortable talking about it don't.

Never have I had one but I've never lied to my SO about anything no matter how upset it makes me feel or how embarassed or whatever the excuse. You can't lie to someone and expect them to trust you. The truth will come out one day.
