37 weeks, vaginal pain, help!

This is sorta embarrassing, but when inserting my evening primrose oil tonight, it really hurt to put it in. The walls on the inside of my vagina hurt bad. Has anyone else experienced that? Is it a sign that labor could be soon? Im not worried, just wondering if anyone else has had it happen.
