how do you balance it all?

I'm a FTM, my son is 3 months. I work from home full time. Does anyone do this without hired help?? If so, any tips?
We didn't want to hire someone but at the same time, I'm trying to catch up when DH is home on nights and weekends...and working crazy hours is why I left my other job in the first place! 😂
I'm thankful to have a great job and be home with my LO. But this is so hard!

Still figuring this out! I have a four mo and have been doing ~15 hrs/wk since she was 3 mo. She is typically a short napper but one strategy that works often is throwing her in my Tula carrier for a nap and standing at the kitchen counter so I can work on my laptop. It worked better when she was younger (would sometimes sleep for 3+ hours) but it still helps extend nap time some days now. It's hard on the shoulders/back but it helps you get a better chunk of uninterrupted time, though not all babies like it. Overall, it is SUCH a struggle and you are all superwomen for caring for your babies and homes AND taking on additional work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 please share all the strategies!!

I'm a FTM of a 4 month old. It's hard. Especially since he takes such short naps.  Many nights I catch up on work after my husband gets home, or respond to emails on my cell as he's breastfeeding. Sometimes my sisters will come over and hold him for a bit so I can form coherent thoughts.

It's so hard I do it now. Baby is 6 months so sleeps 9-11 and then is up for three hours. I rotate him from playing on mat to bouncer. It is so hard and I know it will only get harder. I don't want to leave home with anyone but also wanted to say the money...eventually will need someone to help...

Here goes my experience: my baby is 12 w old and on the good days manage maybe to answer 3 emails. Any work that requires research, or my full attention is not being done - the baby is able to play alone maybe for 10 min before she needs some attention. So I am able to do housework or other things that are manual and low demanding on focus, but that's it. I've got a project to research/plan/write and deliver in 15-20 days and simply can't see it getting done. Nights she sleeps good but I am usually so tired and needing to sleep that my brain doens't function. Or my husband is at home and since we haven't seen each other all day long and I haven't seen any adults all day long I want to spend sometime being a normal adult...

I'm wondering the same thing! My little boy will be a month next week and I have clients begging me to start working again. I'm a little anxious how I will find time and energy to keep up with nursing and caring for a newborn and taking on a full load again. Will love to hear what feedback you get!

Following. I will be when I return from leave at the end of February. My mom is retired and planning to come over to help. I'm just not sure if I will need her the whole day or just part of the time. Only time will tell.
