Are blowjobs scary?

So I'm 17 and in love 😍 I'm not planning on giving a blowjob any time soon or having sex (I'm planning on saving myself for marriage, my own choice) but I've always been taught that sex is a beautiful thing however being on eve and reading all the hate comments and horror stories about blowjobs I'm sorta confused and would like some clarification. Are blowjobs really that bad to the point that girls and woman get annoyed or sad when a man asks for one? Does it hurt? (I swear I'm not trolling, serious and genuine curiousity)
