Castor oil?

Question

Anyone used Castor Oil before?  I was against it at first, but I'm definitely considering it after my appointment today. Been 80% effaced and 2cm dilated for almost a month. I'm not due until November 9th but I've had high blood pressure and they want to induce if I don't have him by my due date. I know I can always say no to induction, but I'm also concerned for my son. I've tried the walking, bouncing, spicey food, ect.

It worked when i was 38 weeks with my daughter. I tried it this time at 37 weeks but nothing besides strong contractions, it did help dilate me to 1cm though! I am 38 weeks now and just tried it again at 9am this morning, took 2tbsp. I went for a long walk afterwards and did some bouncing/dancing along with sex. Its now 5:30pm and im having pretty strong contractions, so hopefully it works!😌

All it did for me was cause non stop diarrhea

I took it with my now 4 year old. It definitely works- you will start with back/ wind pains then I went into full labour 24 hours after. It caused me and baby to poop though and slow his heart rate. They were gonna have to use forceps to pull him out as he had swallowed poo etc 
Currently 35+3 and wanting baby out soon but not sure I would risk CO again 😬
