I have both and the green ones are better! I used the tubes pretty much all the time up until my baby was four months old because he was easier to burp so the green ones you can use without the tube and this way I felt like I wasn't wastin all my time cleaning bottles. But best bottles ever

I think for the green ones you can use them with or without the vent system but the blue ones you have to use the vent system otherwise they will leak all over the place. We have one of the green ones that we got at a baby shower and the rest we have are blue. One time I was using one of the blue ones and I forgot to put the vent system (blue tube with off white top that goes into it) in the bottle and I shook it up and it went everywhere!
