is paracetamol safe?

Question

I'm having a minor op done in 2 weeks time. I will be 6.5 weeks by then but my surgeon told me to take paracetamol for the pain after woods but he said this berore knowing I was pregnant. 
Obviously I shall I ask him again when I next go but does anyone know if it's ok to take pain killers when pregnant?

Paracetamol is safe but that's it. You can't take ibruprofrn etc. Also try to limit how much you take i.e. Don't take full
Dose of half a dose will do. I've been taking them on and off due to infections and headaches and dr said it was ok to take

The NHS recommends paracetamol without any extras such as ibruprophen or aspirin at the lowest dose required for the minimum time required. But defiantly check with ur health care provider to make sure that is safe in your circumstance.
