Pros, YOU CANT GET PREGNANT. Even If He Came In You 1 Million Times In A Day You Wouldn't Get Pregnant.

Cons, 
You Won't Want To Have Sex AT ALL, Its Almost Like You Have To Force Yourself.
You Cramp 10xs Worst Than Normal
No Period At All, Or A Period For Maybe Months
Your Body Will Get Weaker By Day Because It Causes The Bones To Be Weak
Your Always Tired
Depressed 
Get Angry Very Fast 
Sometimes You Lose Your Hair
Can Put You At Risk Of Not Being Able To Have Kids 
You Can GAIN LOTS OF WEIGHT 
I DONT RECOMMEND IT

Im on the depo shot. I just recently got my second shot 3 weeks ago. I love it. I have HORRIBLE periods and it is a blessing for me. The first month of being on it, I had a normal period, second month, I spotted old blood for 11 days and the same with the third month. After my second shot I have had no problems. It hasn't effected my sex drive, and has stopped my period. It does however make me super hungry like, all the time and my doctor said it can make you gain weight but considering the fact that I've only gained 2-3 pounds in 3 years, it hasn't made me gain any weight. If youre prone to gain weight, you have to watch what you eat and or excersize. It works for some women and doesn't for others. Just depends on how your body responds to it. Try it out for a few months and if you don't like it, don't get another shot. It is amazing for me. So you never know if you never try. Good luck!

Pros: don't have to worry about taking it everyday, no period, not painful.

Cons: numbing of feelings, anger, no sex drive.

i'm sure i'm in the minorrity here but i actually got pregnant on the depo shot! he pulled out so it was most likely precum that got me pregnant. On top of that, i gained weight (but it was probably pregnancy weight not the depo lmao) and had barely any sex drive

Hate it. I'm never going on it again. I had horrible mood swings, from being a horrible brat to sobbing in minutes because I was scared my SO would dump me because I was being so horrible. I was bleeding for about 6 weeks of the total 12 weeks it was effective. Gained so much weight, acne. Horrible horrible horrible.

I was on it for 5 years and just got off of it. Pros are that you don't bleed and you don't have to go back and get it till 3 months. Cons are if you plan on having a child in the next year or so you might not be able to. But everyone is different. I got off of it last month and I'm on my period regularly. Try it out and if you like it then keep doing it. If not then try the pill. Whatever makes you happy girl. 😊 good luck.
