Age gap

I'm all for advocating for age differences & stuff, but now that I'm the one in that position I'm stuck.
I'll start by saying I'm a teen mom. 17 years old & due in February with my baby girl!!
The father & I are no longer dating but he only recently moved out. (He got kicked out the week after leaving me for his ex girlfriend and I took him in to live with me.)
Anywho, I've been talking to this really great guy.
The kind of guy who just seems to understand.
He knows my situation with my ex & everything, even asked me how I was taking him moving out (he knows I get anxiety being alone).
Huge sweetheart!
Except he's 25.
Before anyone tries saying its illegal as an argument against it, it's not.
1) age of consent here is 16. Meaning at 16 + you can have sexual relations with a man of any age as long as it's consensual.
2) we're only in the talking stage. Actually haven't met yet (met online). So there's no sexual relations of any kind.
I'm so aware that it's a pretty big age gap.
I'm definitely not denying that.
But considering I'm having a child & actually far more advanced in life experiences & such (not just referring to my pregnancy) than most 17 year olds, it doesn't seem that big of a difference when we talk.
I guess I'm not looking for people to tell me how disgusting it is, my ex has done a fine job of that, just some reassurance that it's not as big of a deal as I keep telling myself it is.
