any nurses out there?
Hey ladies.
I'm an RN and was wondering when you guys let your boss know you were pregnant. On top of our normal patients who require lifts and boosts, I also care for patients who have been injected with a radioactive isotope so I could potentially put my child at risk for the radiation. A coworker of mine who just had her baby suggested I wait until 6 weeks (and warned
me that everyone on the unit will know..), but I'm just worried I'll get assigned patients who could put my baby at risk :/ when did you guys tell your boss?
