induction

Hey ladies! I was diagnosed with cholestasis this past week and I have to be induced around 37 weeks. My next OB appointment is next Friday, is ill obviously ask my doctor all of this... but for those ladies who had to be induced early as well, did they give you a date and stuck with it? I've heard of some people who have to "play it by ear" around whatever week they were meant to be induced and wait for the go ahead from their doctor.
