Choking Whilst Feeding

My 4 week old has started occasionally choking whilst breast feeding during the past week or so. She is generally a sleepy feeder and will fall asleep at the breast and continue to feed until she is satisfied. She tends to choke after about 5 minutes of feeding and whilst she is sleepy so I'm not sure if falling asleep is the cause of her issues? We feed in the football hold position.
