bumps on labia majora

For at least 5 years now I've had bumps on my outer labia. They are skin colour, they don't hurt, they don't change, they don't spread...they are just there. I asked the doctor about it a couple years ago and I forget what she said but that it was nothing to worry about. Does anyone else have something like this?? Were you told what it is? Any ideas to get rid of them? I am self conscious of them😔
