I have BCBS PPO, and shortly after my first appointment, I received I letter from my Drs office saying I needed to pay $2800, before the end of November 2016(my due date is Feb of 2017). Is this a normal practice?? And there is no way I will be able to pay that down payment out of pocket, I've made payments but they told me at my last appointment on oct 31st that the remainder would be due in full next appointment on nov 29th.  There is no way I can do that, I am a single mom, work full time, I make decent $ but at the same time have multiple other bills and monthly payments. Anyone else having this issue, or sticker shock over their OBGYN payment?
