can your water accidentally break?

This might be a dumb question, but I just thought about what if I accidentally break my water before my due date, like before 37 weeks by doing something too physical or making a fast movement(bending over too fast)and baby might rip the amniotic fluid bag with and elbow,hand, nail.. etc. i just turned over while laying in bed really sudden and I kinda felt a jab,sharp pain near my side and randomly thought about that. Has that been know to happen?
