6 week checkup question?

So where I deliver my baby its pretty far from where I live now and I was wondering do I have to make my 6 week checkup at the hospital I had my baby or can I just make an appointment with another Obgyn near me ?

I'm seeing my regular OB in Mindy.  Even though I delivered at my home hospital, another OB delivered me that day.

Mine check up was at the regular Obgyn's office where I went for all my prenatal checkups.
