I have been vaping and today I found out I am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant! Will this affect the baby?

It shouldn't affect baby since you're so early. You're lucky you found out when you did, the first trimester is when baby is most vulnerable, so I feel bad for mom's who smoke and don't find out until they are say 8, 10, 12 weeks(if they never would have been smoking had they known).

But now you know, so take care of you, take care of baby :)

I smoked cigarettes and quit the second I found out. Didn't even have one or try to wean off. Got the positive, and stopped. And to say I was addicted would be an understatement, but it's one of those things, why risk it if all it does is satisfy a craving, curb my nerves, it's all selfish reasons and will only hurt baby.

Good for you looking out and asking he right questions. If you need help stopping, talk to your OB, they will always be willing to help, they just want your baby healthy!

I would just stop from now on, I wouldn't worry too much about what you've done for the last 4 weeks just try and be healthy and stop smoking in from now. I was smoking cigarettes and even went out and got drunk a week before I found out I was pregnant 😳😂 oh and my son is healthy👍

You should be fine if you stop now but for people who say it's safe-I would disagree because there are limited studies done on vaping and any reactions associated with pregnancy since it hasn't been around as long as cigarettes..I was on some meds before I found out I was pregnant and I was almost 4 weeks when I stopped and my baby looks/tests nice and healthy.

Whatever was done before you found out cannot be changed. At this point the effect on baby would be all or nothing. Once organ formation starts, that's the most sensitive period and that's when you need to be most cautious to reduce the chance of malformation.

Ecigs still have nicotine is bad for pregnant women and babies. Dont worry too much about the past, but the best thing you can do for your baby is to stop vaping and using tobacco products. I know it's hard though, good luck!
