pregnancy normal?" /> I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and during my first and third trimesters, I've had a lot of coughing without any other symptoms of a cold. Occasionally I'll sneeze or get a little congested, but it's mostly just coughing. Is this normal?

Welcome to my world lol I had a terrible cough throughout my first pregnancy and its back this time around. Doc told me it's normal pregnancy related congestion that causes a post nasal drip that irritates the throat. Plain claritin is somewhat helpful. Cough drops are your friend.

I read somewhere that a lot of women start feeling a little stopped up or start having to blow their noses a lot. I can't remember why, but I've been sneezing a lot. I think it's normal for some women to get a sneeze or a cough. If I had to guess I'd say it's probably just sensitivity to allergens. You get extra sensitive to smell and stuff, so it seems it would make sense to be more sensitive to the things flying around in the air too. Just my guess! Good luck!
