Pacifiers? Opinion

My first son didn't like them.. but I'd like to try them with this baby but debating on it still.. don't know if I should put them on my registry.. 😒

My baby decides when he wants it, so luckily doesn't NEED it always. And if it falls out it falls out, and he doesn't scream for it!

what's the worst that could happen?  It soothes them, it reduces SIDS. Have you ever seen a person sucking on one in middle school?!  No its not like your baby won't grow out of it lol

My first son didn't take one, my daughter did take one, andnomg it took me forever to get her off of one. I pray this baby don't take one.

I will try with my baby, but will take away by 6 months (personally).  My niece hated them, and nephew was O.K., but they were not a big deal for him either.

I only used one with my daughter because the hospital introduced one when she was born, when I decided not to beast feed, they took her to the nursery so I could sleep, brought her to me in the morning and she had one. She really only wants it during nap time or in the car.

You should look at pacifiers reducing the risk of SIDS. I was on the fence about them personally but after looking at it I found out that they can actually lower the rate of SIDS in babies under 6 months.

You can always just try it, they aren't hard to break either as long as you don't use it as a crutch every time baby cries.
