Boyfriend on phone the entire time while at the ER

We're in the er room and the doctors say it's a possibility I could be going into preterm birth at just 23 weeks this is my first child and I'm kinda nervous. He literally stayed on his phone in the corner the whole time. Like he doesn't care, they're talking about keeping me but he's just idk this my first like real relationship and should I just be happy he's even here or what? I just reallly wanted some comfort
