kinda confused

Not sure if this is too tmi but I'm a little confused. So normally before my period my cm is creamy and almost dry. My boyfriend always mentioned that when we are doing our business. However, this time I'm more wet. I haven't felt any creaminess at all and my period should be here any hour now. Could it be a sign of anything like infection or pregnancy or something. I just want some ideas of what it could be or if it's completely normal.
