Rant and opinion

So recently my husband's ex girlfriend was dumped by her boyfriend. My husband and his ex (never married only dated on and off) share a daughter. And recently now that she's single she's been texting him a bunch but not about their daughter just random xonverations and it makes me really uncomfortable. She never it did it before when she had a boyfriend and now she won't stop texting him. Am I wrong for feeling uncomfortable and wanting it to stop? I understand they need to communicate for their daughter but they aren't friends.
