Spit up - formula question?

My 2 week old has been on Gerber good start for a week now, and ever since he started he's been spitting up like crazy. It takes us an hour+ to get through 3 ounces because we stop to burp 4+ times. He spits up a teaspoon everytime he burps and if I put him on his back (for a changing) it's a 95% certainty that he'll spit up another teaspoon. After the 3 ounces he's usually ready for another ounce because so much ended up in his bib/onesie/hair. He wheezes all through meals and occasionally chokes as it comes back up. It's so sad :(

Anyone else experiencing this, or found anything that's helped? A different formula that works for a baby that spits up so much?
