TMI!! Have I lost my mucus plug?

Question

So I got my crrvix checked yesterday found out I was 1 cm dilated this morning I went to the bathroom and this came out. Yesterday I was losing pieces of what seemed to be my mucus plug. I'm a first time mom so I'm not sure if this is my mucus plug or not somebody help!

It is brown blood so more likely than not, it is from the examination. It happens.

How far along are you? It could just be more of your mucus plug coming out in small amounts or just from your cervix being irritated or you could be dialating more. There's really no way to tell. Are you having any pain?
