Has a tech ever guessed gender and been wrong?

Went in at 17 weeks and tech peaked and said may be a girl but will get a better look next time... at 19 weeks is when I supposed to get the real deal. Has this happened to anyone else and the tech was wrong? I'll be happy either way! Just don't want to have my mind set on one gender and it may be another...

Not to me, but that's why most techs won't even look in that area, and If they do they just won't say anything. Especially before the anatomy scan when things are still developing

15 weeks boy.. they are pretty obvious at that point.. girls maybe not so much. You can mistake the cord sometime. I fee like if she looked hard enough she'd be right.  But just wait before you buy anything.

I was told at 15.6 weeks I was having a girl and confirmed at 20 weeks she was a girl!

Yes, I was inintially told girl then two weeks later was told boy and now it's been confirmed twice that he's a boy! He had his umbilical cord wrapped around his parts.

I was told girl at 15w5d and she's been confirmed twice since then at 20 weeks. I think they say if you're told girl early to wait to buy and announce because of the umbilical cord. But it's easy to tell a boy early on!

Yes. I was told at 16 weeks I was having a girl. At 20 weeks, he was very very much a boy. The tech was very wrong.

I was told at 13 weeks I was having a little boy. 19 weeks rolled around, and he's still diffidently a boy👍😂

I was told at 13 weeks i was having a girl, and confirmed at 19 weeks it was a girl... so i was hoping that she stayed a girl lol..
