I took 5 laxatives , over a week ago, is this why I am bloated?

I took 5 laxatives to desperately make my weigh ins last week.  I have had issues losing weight with the meds I am on so I needed to lose the water weight fast.  Anyways, now I feel bloated and puffy.  I have been earing healthy, only 1300 caps a day, and exercising.  Why am I so bloated?????

Medically speaking you are messing yourself up relying on laxitives and you will cause harm to your gastointestinal tract as it will become reliable upon them. You are starving the colon from water and this can cause serious complications. You need to stop using them and drink alot of water. They will not help you loose weight and mantain it at all. You need to work out a better plan. Im not to judge its your body im just stating medically its not safest option

Probably because you aren't eating enough.  With exercise if you live an active life style you need to consume a decent amount of calories for your body.   too much salty food will cause bloat,  but so can dehydration. It's all about balance.  Five laxatives is a bit much.  Maybe try a probiotic.

It is because of the laxitives, don't ever do that again. My best friend now has a problem accidently pooping herself now because she abused laxatives trying to lose weight. It dehydrates you and your body tries to make up for it by retaining more water. Don't ever take laxitives unless you actually need them.

Maybe not enough water in your body you are prob dehydrated from all the laxatives
