So sick!

Ugh I'm so sick right now! Tomorrow will make a week being sick. Had a fever almost all of last week, went to the dr. And he told me i had strep even though the test was negative because my other symptoms suggested strep, he gave me antibiotics, within a few hours of taking them i started throwing up and didnt stop for 6 hours straight. Got rushed to the hospital because i couldn't even keep water down. They took blood, put an iv in, took urine, told me i had a uti (even though ive had no pain), gave me new antibiotics for the uti, and told me to follow up with my doctor. My doctor took more samples and said i didnt have a uti, said i also didnt have strep because the culture came back negative, told me to stop taking the antibiotics because what i have is just a virus that needs to run its course.

Now im coughing nonstop, it hurts to swallow, and my ears hurt really bad. But thank goodness no more fever. And now on top of it all i just got my period 😭

Any home remedies for a cough/sore throat?? Im taking mucinex right now but its not really helping much. 🤒😷
