Nose piercing help!

I want a nose piercing soooo bad but because of my age, i need to have parent consent. I have told my parents that i would pay for it myself and take care of it but whenever i bring it up or ask they just blow me off and don't even let me finish asking. i really do respect them but i just wish they would be more accepting and let me do what i want. advice??
