Im almost 13weeks pregnant and i honestly didnt want to get the flu shot as i havent in the past 2-3years, but my obgyn wouldnt stfu about me getting it when my husband and i went in for my 12 week appt.- so i just got it- hoping it dont harm anything, but i dont see why a obgyn would push vaccines that werent safe for pregnant women onto them - so its a waiting game i guess ! Its really up to you, i wish i would have just said no - i dont want one or yep already got one! Just to eliminate the guilt trip!

I have heard both sides of the argument on this an I am usually one all for vaccines and flu shots however with the risks I've decided to opt out this year an just muscle through but def ask your doc AN see what they say an your own judgment as well. I was told the one with out preservatives is better but I'm not 100% sure. Good luck love!

You know someone on this app scared the crap out of me by posting about going into preterm labor 2 days after a flu shot. I delayed my flu shot for 4 weeks until I talked to my doctor. She said it's safe and to go ahead and take it

She also mentioned it I got the flu I would be hospitalized and it would become a risky pregnancy. Maybe even intubation in the ICU if needed.

I took the flu shot. I'm fine.
