My 1 year old won't eat any meals !! Or vegetables or anything like that ! He's being very picky about his foods now and I'm starting to worry about him not eating. He prefers sweets such as candy and I don't give it to him myself but his grandma does and my sisters and a few others even when I say NO ! Anybody knows what I can do for this ??

It's very hard and may seem cruel to some but don't offer anything other than healthy choices and if they say no say fine and let them go without my kids always get hungry and will eat what ever I offer if they are hungry enough just don't give in it's whats best for your child it will get easier if that's their only choice.

He's one. You're the mom. Don't let a baby be the boss of you lol. its hard when they refuse to eat, but sooner or later he'll be hungry enough and take what you give him. As for the other people giving him things after you say no, thats fuckin up your authority in his eyes, he's gunna learn that if mommy says no then ask grandma/aunt/mommy's friends. the older he gets the harder it'll be to break that mindset

You've really got to get control of the sweets and snacks and only offer real food. He'll eat when he's hungry. Definitely necessary to put your foot down with family giving other food outside meals.

He's one your the mom if all else fails keep the other who give him candy AWAY no one year old should be getting candy especially if they are not eating. Offer the healthy choices if he refuses he'll eat it eventaully

My son was the same way. I started slowly with snacks like chocolate rice cakes, gold fish and animal crackers. He is still picky but now if I offer a bar of chocolate or a can of corn he will pick the corn (not that that is ever an option but I did once to see what he would say) he loves cucumbers and raw peppers, mashed potatoes, and healthy treats like fruits and yogurt. He is still so so with meats, but he loves steak and chicken so we just tell him that everything is steak or chicken and he eats it up!

Figure out a way to end the sweets/junk food. He can't fill up on those of they're not an option. If that means some people can't be around him for a while because they won't respect your wishes, then so be it.Offer only healthy, real meals and snacks every 2-3 hours. He might continue refusing at first, but eventually he will get truly hungry and eat.

You really have to put an end to the sweets and candy. He's one. That's like cocaine to a baby imagine how good it tastes why would he want to eat vegetables if he's getting candy secretly fed to him. You can hide veg in a sauce and give with pasta. Simple chicken in a homemade tomato sauce with white rice. Those were some of the first meals my baby loved.
