Trying to conceive

My cycle was suppose to start Friday. I thought it was trying to start bc I had some slight spotting, slight red and brown, then it went away. Saturday nothing no slight cramps. Sunday slight cramps a spot or two. Monday slight cramps but still nothing yet. Should I do a test or wait?
