I have had series of braxton hicks that lasted 30 mins or more at regular intervals for regular lengths of time - they always freak me out when they get going - i agree with the advice though - go for a wee then lie down and rest on your left side and see if they ease off. If they dont, then call your doc/midwife for advice.

Do they ease up when you change position or activity? Because if so you have no reason to be worried.

No, try drinking water and lying on your right side. If they stop, nbd. If they continue, go to your l&d.
