Progress w sleep regression

I know a lot of you are going through this so I'm going to post what's been working for us. 
First off, my LO was sleeping well from 6-12 weeks. He would do 5-6 hrs and then another 3. Right at 12 wks he started sleeping a 3 hr stretch and then up every 30 mins to 2 hrs the rest of the night. This has been happening for 3 weeks.
The last few days I have put him down in his bassinet for every nap (previously he would only sleep in our arms for naps). He wakes up after 5-10 mins sometimes but as long as he isnt cranky I just let him catnap all day. His longest nap is around 1 hr. At night (bedtime is 8ish) we use white noise, dark room and do his bedtime routine. When we put him down he's usually drowsy but too tired to fuss. When he wakes in the night I only pick him up if he's hungry. Otherwise I rub his head and put in his pacifier until he goes back to sleep. The last few nights he's only been up 2-3 times (huge improvement). Last night he woke at 230am to eat, woke at 530 briefly but I got him back to sleep without picking up, and now up for the day at 7am.
