Question
I'm 40 weeks 3 days and for the first time I got checked to see how many centimeters I am. She was going to do a membrane sweep but said that I'm only 1 cm and that she rather wait until I'm more dilated to do the membrane sweep. So my question is, is it normal to have bloody discharge after checking to see how dilated you are? I haven't had any signs that I'm going to give birth anytime soon. If it was just a drop of bloody discharge I would think it's from her checking me, but it was a good amount so I'm hoping that maybe she helped get things moving even without the membrane sweep.
