In terms of risk, the safest age to have kids is age 20. But that doesn't mean a 20-year-old is ready to have kids.

If age is our only factor here, I'd say 20-25 out of the choices I was given. I like the idea of being fairly young because once your child is completely grown, you're not much older. I'm not just saying this because I'm 21, but I do like the idea that when my daughter is 21 I'll be 42 and we can just lounge by the pool, gossip, drink girly drinks and hang out like my mom and I do. If there's too much of an age gap I feel like the parent / child relationship is very different. Nothing wrong with it at all! Just different. I don't plan to be the "party mom who wants to be your friend" but once she's 18 and is an adult, her choices are on her and we can be a little more like friends

It really depends on the person, but for me the best time was mid-20's. My husband and I got married when I was 23, he was 24. We got married in September and my birthday is in December. We started trying to conceive in October, but didn't get pregnant until April when I was 24. I had my daughter a few weeks after turning 25. I turn 26 in a month and I am currently 13 weeks 5 days pregnant with my second baby, and this is our last.

For us, we wanted to make sure we were married first (nothing wrong if you aren't, but that's what we wanted), with stable jobs, and in a home that we own in an area with good schools. We didn't care about traveling young. We wanted to have a family first and travel when we are older as a family. We will have more expendable income for travel when we are older anyway.

I've voted for my age group! It was right for me. I'm 33 and have a 14 month old, we're trying for #2. We're married, financially stable and emotionally ready- I'm not saying people younger than me aren't! Just that it's right for us. My career is established enough for me to be a SAHM for a few years after we have our second. We own two houses, we rent one out for income, and my husband's business is stable and doing really well. I didn't meet my husband until I was 28. We both wanted to get married before having children. I'm pleased with how things have turned out! I had a very healthy pregnancy last time, I'm hoping for a fairly quick conception and healthy pregnancy next time as well. Age is just a number, I think it's more important for it to be at the right time in life for your individual circumstances.

I think this poll is really dumb. Health wise and for the least amount of complications due to age is best around your 20's, but everyone is at different stages of life at different ages!

I would actually say the best time to start having kids, especially if you want a big family, would be between 20-30. I feel if you start later than thirty, there can be complications, same if you start before 20. In some cases, that's totally untrue. It totally depends on the person, method of conception, personal timeline, health, financial stability, and so on. 
All of that is only relevant if you don't end up with an oops baby😂😊💙
